Death is serious / Lose something on death
People shouldn’t go into a situation expecting to die but should never want to die by making g death serious. Could involve losing almost all of your stuff and gear and take money away from you

I'm curious to hear more ideas on that suggestion.
Aside from losing items and money, what sort of penality could be good to make death a bit more "serious" without making it too frustrating?
XP loss? Temporary debuff reducing damage?
How about being teleported back to the very entrance of the map or the previous outpost? -

Kerohan AdminYes @Byte that's also an interesting approach!
Instead of punishing the player, rewarding the monsters (Make them level up? GuildWars 1 Eden run anyone? :p) -

EzequielYou get teleported to the last city you were in and lose all of your stuff, because what if you fall off a cliff, what r y gonna do buff the ground? 😂

ByteIt would be funny if the strongest goblins camp is 10 meters away from the city because some dude kept dying trying to fight them
