Prioritize map size over content density
Making the wild areas like Forrest’s, jungles etc very big and complex will add realism to the world and there should be an incentive to want to explore and walk through these large areas, whether it being going to a dungeon, for a quest or making it to another town, that’s why I think that teleportation should be limited to a couple main cities, same with limiting mounts. (This is one suggestion however the rest that I said it’s important for the suggestion to make sense)
Edit from Admin - took the liberty to change the title, because almost everyone want bigger maps, the true question is map size versus content density.

I hope that the Forrest’s or jungles or whatever are like really really big, I want to get lost in them or have to stop halfway through my adventure and set up a campsite! And then also like I hope this game doesn’t have a lot of fast travel because literally half the fun is having to travel on foot or something, and if you do mounts please don’t make any that can fly or maybe but just like hover so you still have to go through the forest and make them not too fast. -

KalelWhat if you could only teleport to the main 3 or 4 cities and for the rest you need walk. I think the longest journey between duties should be a little less than 2 hours so one gaming session could be dedicated to traveling and obviously 🙄 there would be monsters and little towns on the way. Realistically it takes time to get from place to place and I guarantee people will want to spend a lot of their adventuring time in the wild. And then you could also get lost which would be fun to like argue with your friends about who was wrong about which direction when all of a sudden you fall into a dungeon…… 🤣🤣

Tif MergedI really hate when in rpgs or other vr games it makes you kind of think that you are in an open world Forrest when you are really just following a path and you can actually climb over mountains or go your own way. It would be really awesome if the wilderness was absolutely ginormous and was you could climb over small mountains to get where you want to go, explore through the trees. Or like you are going to a super far away place and it takes a long long time to get there and on your way you find a small town and pay for lodging or if there is no villages close and you can’t deal with the monsters at night you set up a little camp and play music over the fire that would be so cute

FrancoDudddeee that would be awesome, like have a huuuggegggeeeeeeeeeeee wild/ Forrest area and that you need to go through them if you want to go to other towns. I think that the teleporters should only be for the main cities and for everything else you need to travel on foot.

DavidGood 👍 if the game is aiming for fun then it should be really big and easy to get lost in.

Ezequiel MergedMake giant explorable areas like really huge and that as a player if you want to get somewhere else you have to go through it even in the late game. If everyone can just fly there or teleport there then it would get kind of boring. Thanks!!
