Hard leveling up / Harder combats by complexity
In order to level up and become “stronger” you need to actually get good. I’m so sick of games letting you max out yourself but you didn’t actually earn it or don’t even know what you are doing. I think it’s very important that if you actually want to level up you need to accomplish things that take time, effort, practice and a little bit of talent. This can be done by making the combat system complex, like I suggested before, make it like chess. There are (I think) like 1 quintillion different possible moves in chess which is why it can get so hard. If you add many different dodging movements, attacking movements (like jumping forward, or behind someone) many different attacks (I guess like sword skills) etc would make it more challenging and rewarding. Last thing. I think the same complexity should go for magic too, many different spells, ways to cast. Etc. FINALLY… in order to learn these skills it should take practice and not just clicking a button to “learn” it. Real training. Thx

Yeah I want to have to learn my skills or spells by going into the Forrest, finding an empty area and just practicing my magic or my sword skills. I started playing rumble a couple months ago (really good I do recommend) and I think the reason for its success was because of the learning curve if you wanted to learn just how to throw a rock forward you had to learn a pose and if you did it wrong, then it wouldn’t work. That’s kind of what I want for this game. Real skill not fake skills by simply clicking a button. -

TopoYeah the whole combat system as well as the magic system should be pretty complicated and hard to master which would be good for like skill curve and stuff
