Crafting Recipes Discovery + Quality levels
When crafting professions such as alchemy, blacksmithing, leatherworking, etc., you must experiment with combinations to discover recipes. There should be a chance of losing materials, and the crafted items should have tiers (quality levels).

Kuronyx MergedInstead of gaining or losing resources depending on the smithing result, the quality of success could directly affect the stats of the crafted weapon. Depending on the outcome, the weapon could receive random positive or negative stat modifiers, making the system feel more rewarding and engaging.
At least for me personally, this would make smithing far more motivating, since the result would not always be the same.
It would also be cool to let players name the weapons they craft themselves. That would make them feel more personal and special. -
