Make the main story completely optional
The main story is completely optional if you don’t want to follow it, you don’t have to. Maybe my story is about becoming the greatest chef ever. That might mean traveling to Dargonath to meet with some dwarves to help build me a restaurant, or going on adventures with different parties to test and improve my cooking.
Or maybe I want to become the greatest mage of all time, with the goal of learning and mastering every single spell, no matter how obscure.
Etc., etc.

Few reminders for the story:
- It's a long serie of quests containing various objectives.
- Some of those quests are unique boss encounters, others are like mini dungeons. To unlock them you have to reach that part of the story.
- It's not just long talking scenes.
- They are all replayable.
- They are all playable with a party.
- Between each quests, you are of course free to explore and do your own business / other objectives.
Of course we can make it optional but that's just asking for less content.
So are you suggesting this because; you like your character to be someone else on the roleplay side, or because you don't really like story-driven games (or both)? -

Bytei think its about being someone else. it would be much cooler if theres multiple medium/high quality small stories and quest lines to do instead of only huge high quality one. (it might be wild to ask for a lower quality thing but its for the sake of the scope)
