Directional Parry System
Instead of just placing your sword in the path of an attack, you parry by moving your sword in the opposite direction of the enemy’s swing.
So if the enemy slashes right, you don’t just block—you swing left to deflect it. That movement creates realistic impact and resistance, slows your motion down, and adds weight.
If you mistime or misangle the parry, you take a big stamina hit.

Maybe instead of just not blocking it it like pushes the both of you back a little bit or it lowers your stamina by a decent chunk and like feels weird/ wrong to do -

DavidThis reminds me of the apple game, Infinity Blade! Great idea! And makes Parrying a litle more difficult. Perhaps make it a feature where putting your sword in the way blocks but swping in the direction gives a parry and throws them back so you can get more hits in. that way the game is still accessable for new starters but also rewarding for more skilled players.
